Fed up of soaking hay?
We have hay soakers ready to go! Current stock is in black, but other colours can be made to order.
Driven by our own experience of how tricky soaking hay in winter is, we have designed a hay soaker to make the task easier!
This soaker is made of durable plastic, the internal dimensions are 60cm X 50cm X 46cm. It has a lid with the lever to press the hay well into the water. The soaker is fitted with a filter at the bottom to catch hay, as well as a tap which can be connected to a pipe to direct the water away.
Because the water drains from the very bottom, the hay can be drained and then pressed by the lever in the lid to remove as much water as possible. The soaker itself is low enough to make lifting the drained hay as easy as possible.
This product is solid and will be long lasting. The lid is fastened closed so flies in summer are not an issue.
